We depart from our meeting point in El Chaltén, traveling the 37 km that separate us from Lago del Desierto along a beautiful gravel  road, which accompanies the de las Vueltas River. During the tour, important information about the area is transmitted and stops are made at panoramic points. Then, from the South End’s Pier,  we sail for about 30 minutes seeing the Huemul and Crestón Glaciers to disembark in the area of the Great Vespignani Glacier, which is located in the central area of the Lake.
Once there, under the supervision of someone responsible for your safety in the activity, you will have four hours to choose whether to walk all or any of the FOUR trails proposed for this purpose, perfectly signposted in the area according to the difficulty and effort you wish to make. After a farewell chocolate, we board back to arrive at the South End's Pier.
At the scheduled time, the bus takes us back to El Chaltén where our adventure ends.

GLACIER VESPIGNANI AREA TRAILS
- The Blue trail is the most demanding one with a gradient of 535 meters in 3 km of route, allowing us to access the "Doctor's Look" in two hours; without a doubt the best path to a high natural balcony to appreciate a large glacier in all its immensity
- The Red trail with a gradient of 200 meters and a 2 km route allows us in one hour, at a slow pace, to access the foot of the Glacier, plus an incredible high view of the north face of Mount Fitz Roy.
- The Yellow trail, with a gradient of only 50 meters in 1 km, takes us with a gentle slope in 30 minutes to an outstanding panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Glacier.
- The green trail as an option or complement to the other routes, is an interpretive walk without slope, only 800 meters of total development, which within the forested and coastal area, does not deprive itself of having its viewpoint of the Great Glacier.
